Hiking the highest mountain Jabal Um Ad Dami

On this tour we will hike the highest mountain of Jordan, Jabal Um Ad Dami (1832 m).

(btw: JABAL or JEBAL – it is written everytime different since the arabic letters are not same as ours; means MOUNTAIN)

It is located right next to the Saudi Arabian border, it offers a magnificent views of the Wadi Rum desert from the top. On clear days, it is even possible to see the Red Sea in the distance. And during the drive to get there to start the hike: you will see many spectacular views…

Trekking Wadi Rum with Camels

BURDAH Bridge Hike

In this different hike we will climb the BURDAH Bridge.

On our jeep tours we can see this bridge high up from below and looks like it can not be easy to get up there from below… But yes. 

The Burdah Bridge is knows for its 35 meters natural arch formation. And it is hidden very high up in the surrounding rock formations.

We drive to the spot and start climbing it. The hike has spectacular views over the desert, and even during the hike the colours, formations and type of stone are changing all the way up.

After we will have a nice lunch break and you will enjoy a freshly cooked meal prepared for you by your guide.

Jabal AL – HASH MOUNTAIN HIKE

On this tour we will drive almost all the way south of the Protected Area of Wadi Rum Desert.

There is the mountain – Jabal Al – HASH.

(btw: JABAL or JEBAL – it is written everytime different since the arabic letters are not same as ours; means MOUNTAIN)

On the way to start the hike; we will pass and stop at many beautiful sports where you can see spectacular views.

Once we start the hike: you will enjoy a beautiful walk in the desert natures, and you will be surprised how many fossils you will find on your way to the top !

There is soooomuch history hidden in this magical place all over the place.

The last part of the hike is a little climb but even though you dont want to do it: on the lower part there are already BREATHTAKING views form the entire area and you can even see the highest mountain.

Trekking BARRAH Canyon Wadi Rum  

Barrah (Burrah) Canyon in Wadi Rum Protected Area is one of the known larger canyons in Wadi Rum Protected Area. IT has a fabulous canyons on all sides, huge rocks, beautiful colours and PURE NATURE. Not many tourists get ¨lost¨ here.

BURRAH (or Barrah- again the letters from Arabic are very different) means: FERTILE GROUND.

In this area the Albloe tribe (the family of our Bedouin family) has its lands and Albloe father is still here and his favourite places to enjoy the quiet desert, with goats, camels….

Circular route. You will start walking into the amazing landscapes, and in the middle we prepare delicious lunch for you.

After lunch we will continue the walk through new new and different part on the way back…..

Bedouin life: one day Wadi Rum desert walk with goats

Would you like to experience the desert like a BEDOUIN does?

Walking the desert with our  goats, resting when goats are resting,

having a break with lunch and tea the Bedouin style?

What to do in  Wadi Rum Village

Wadi Rum Village is the starting point to almost all tours and more.

What can you do, visit, hike etc in this area?

The little Village has also much to offer all around it.

If you arrive too early for your tour meeting or you have few hours left inbetween

there are few spots that are our favourites and they all start at Eid Albloe Garden: our Bedouin family.

One of those are the ruins of the Nabatean Temple: few know that the history of the Nabatean people is not only left in PETRA but also here in Wadi Rum Desert…. caves, springs, inscriptions and much more hidden treasures….

Balloon ride over the Wadi Rum Desert:

If you would like to see this amaizng desert from the top, to see the beauty and the humongous size of it: ride a baloon. We take you to the meeting point where the balloon will go in the sky. The balloon ride stars around 7am, pick up around 5-6am.
